According to a report in a Canadian medical journal, a woman who was sick and was being treated in a Canadian hospital had 120 maggots removed from her eyes and nose after fly laid eggs in her eyes and nose..

"During the period, an adult fly (a green blow fly or a green bottle fly) was seen in the intensive care unit. The patient was in a windowless private room that had an open door. The intensive care unit had no windows to the outdoors; thus, it was assumed that the fly had entered the intensive care unit from another part of the hospital. The fly must have left the eggs in her nose and eyelid."

Doctors removed 120 maggots from her eyes and nose. This happened a long time ago - in 2007 - but the images were recently released. If you have the stomach to look at it, then continue...

Top MP Visits Cocaine Lady Ruby

Information available indicates that a very leading Member of Parliament (MP) in the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) visited the East Legon home and family residence of cocaine smuggling suspect, Ruby Adu-Gyamfi, soon after her arrest in London.

The MP, who represents a largely populated constituent and is influential in Parliament, is said to have rushed to the residence to commiserate with the members of the family on the arrest of their kith and kin.

A UK based Ghanaian prosecutor says among other things, Nayele Ametefeh's use of the VIP section at the Kotoka International Airport (KIA) prior to her arrest in the UK for cocaine trafficking, makes her a kingpin in the business and could get her a maximum sentence for her crime.

According to the crown prosecutor, Godwin Adjei-Gyamfi, the suspect's initial insistence at the airport that she had come to the UK for business and to shop, does not help matters at all.

Jude 'Engees' Okoye, the older brother and manager of P-Square has welcomed a baby girl with his wife, Ify. Ify gave birth at 7.29pm at Northside Hospital Atlanta, Georgia, yesterday Saturday Nov. 29th. Mother and daughter are doing great.

The little bundle of joy has been named Princess Emma Adanna Okoye. Big big congrats to them.

Yesterday former couple Elikem and Pokello fought over some woman on instagram. Elikem has gone on the record to explain who the woman is, his relationship with her and how it's affecting his relationship with ex-fiancee, Pokello.

The woman is Gloria Lamptey (pictured right), the former wife of former Ghanaian international footballer star Nii Odartey Lamptey. A few years ago, Nii discovered that the three children he had with Gloria were not his biological children after he did a DNA following suspicion his wife was not faithful. Ghanaian boxer Bukom Banku (Braimah Kamoko) was the centre story in Bukom on Friday after news broke that the popular man had died in a car accident on the Suhum road.

The death news took over the whole of Bukom with details even suggesting the boxer had died with two other people in a fatal accident.

I'm saying former couple because there's no way two people who are still together will put each other on blast on social media like this.

For those who don't know them, Pokello Nare (from Zimbabwe) and Elikem Kumordzi (from Ghana) met on Big Brother Africa: The Chase, last year and began dating. Darren Wilson, the officer who shot and killed unarmed teen Michael Brown has resigned from the Ferguson Police force. Wilson resigned yesterday November 29th, 5 days after a grand jury decided not to indict him in the fatal shooting of Brown. Though he has been on administrative leave since the incident on August 9th.
